La Cantina is part of our hill farm 'Bel Exil' and, as its name suggests, once housed the estate's wine press. Recently rebuilt in the traditional Tuscan style with thick stone walls, chestnut beamed ceilings and tiled floors whilst incorporating the advantages of modern facilities. It is built on two floors. The ground floor (30 sq m) comprises a large living/dining/kitchen area with electric oven and hobs, fridge/freezer, double sink, comfortable sofa that converts to a double bed, and cast iron wood burning heater. Also on the ground floor is a small lobby with washing machine, and beyond, a bathroom with shower, toilet and wash and handbasin.
An open tread staircase leads to a spacious bedroom on the first floor (21 sq m) with double bed (a baby cot is also available on request). A door leads to a large paved terrace overlooking an olive grove and beautiful landscaped gardens. Although there is a regular bus service on a daily basis it is essential that guests have their own transport.
The accommodation prices are for two persons and are from Saturday to Saturday; there is a surcharge for up to four persons and the number of persons staying must not exceed four.
Low season is from January 1st to June 12th and September 17th to December 31st, 2011 and is €460 per week for 2 persons and €550 for more than 2 persons.
High season runs from June 12th to September 17th and is €550 per weeks for 2 persons and €610 for more than two persons.

bath towels (not, however, beach towels). Bedlinen will be replaced fortnightly whilst towels will be replaced weekly.
Prices exclude
heating (if necessary). The ground floor is equipped with a cast iron wood burning stove and a gas heater is also available on request. Heating is normally required from November through February; in October, March and April possibly only in the evenings.
Payment terms: 30% deposit is requested with confirmed booking with the balance payable at least 42 days prior to commencement of the stay. For bookings made within the six weeks prior to commencement of the stay the full amount is due when making the reservation. A holiday in "La Cantina" is a stay within a Golden Frame. We prefer personal contact with our customers.
Dogs : we welcome well behaved dogs by prior arrangement - please let us know at the time of making your reservation. There is a charge of Euro 20 per week per dog.
